Intego is a successful medium-sized company based in Erlangen.

We develop camera-based measuring and inspection systems for our national and international customers and complement these with automation solutions that perfectly match the conditions in our customers' production.

To achieve this, we combine optics, camera technology, sophisticated image processing algorithms and creative and efficient solutions from mechanical and plant engineering. Our systems optimise the quality of products and production processes.

Intego is active in a wide range of high-tech and future-oriented industries: Our systems are successfully used in high-tech industries such as medical technology, semiconductors, solar, fuel cells, batteries and ceramics.

With our current workforce of around 60 employees, we develop and build technically sophisticated solutions at our Erlangen site that are used successfully all over the world.

We are currently looking for:

Physicists / Computer Scientistst / Project Engineer (m/f/d)

(University or Technical University)

Your main tasks:

  • Planning and development of inspection and measurement concepts as a solution to the problems of our customers.
  • Software and algorithm development with our own "Inspector" image processing software
  • Commissioning of special machines
  • First technical contact for our customers

The requirements:

  • Studies in electrical engineering, physics or computer science (university, FH, doctorate)
  • Experience in programming and developing algorithms
  • Ideally knowledge of optics, microscope, lighting and camera technology
  • Interest in mechanical engineering
  • Sound and conscientious way of working
  • Sufficient communication skills, also with our customers abroad
  • Good knowledge of German and English
